Tonkov will debut the Factory 2016 Husqvarna FC250!

The Wilvo Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing team has released images of the all new factory Husqvarna. Aleksandr Tonkov will debut the bike at the next Grand Prix in Italy on the 19th of April 2015 in Trentino in the Mx2 class. It is expected that this bike will be the platform for the 2016 model FC250 machines.

This new bike is Improved in every detail, the new bike has plenty of benefits – it’s lighter and slimmer than the previous model, with reduced mass within the engine, chassis and featuring redesigned bodywork for cosmetic and riding benefits. Totally redesigning the bodywork and plastics from the ground up, the smoother lines and more compact design ensure the bike is as slim as possible.

Focusing on the chassis, the technicians have developed a new cutting-edge frame which is lighter and stronger than the previous model. The frame design improves torsional rigidity and decreases longitudinal stiffness. The result is better flexibility and feedback for the rider. Making setting up a bike a lot easier and requiring less effort to race hard.

The engine features extensive improvements. A new design has improved and centralised mass and performance, while the new fuel injection system and new battery ensures the new factory Husqvarna’s MX2 factory bike will be even more competitive.

“Everyone within Husqvarna’s motorsport department is truly excited by the opportunity to compete with a completely new motorcycle in this early stage of only our second season of racing,” Robert Jonas, head of Husqvarna Motorsports, said.

This current 2015 model was already an incredible machine so this new improved version will give the bike an even bigger advantage out of the crate.

GH motorcycles is very excited and will be expecting to take delivery of the very first batch of the 2016 FC250 models in early September 2015.
