GH Motorcycles G&B Finch Race Team Eastern Centre Round 2

Brad Tomlin, Luke Parker, Luke Benstead and Brendon Mayers took part in the second round of the Eastern Centre Motocross Championship at Mildenhall on Sunday just seven days after round 1, The weather was kind to everybody as the forecast leading up to the event was supposed to be a washout, unfortunately a lot of water got thrown on the circuit before qualifying which made the track very slippery and a lottery to put a good time in.  Luke Parker posted the fastest time, Luke Benstead was 5th, Brad Tomlin was only 15th after struggling to get a clean lap in and Brendon Mayers was 18th.

Race 1 had Luke Parker shoot out of the gate and get the hole-shot, he lead early on but started to suffer from a little bit of arm pump and lost a few places late in the race to finish 3rd, Luke Benstead started just outside of the top 5 and put on a strong ride to fight all the way to 2nd by race end. Brad Tomlin unusually struggled with starts all day so was always left with a lot of work to do only getting 15th. Brendon Mayers had a good ride in race 1 finishing in 9th.

Race 2 had Shaun Southgate get the hole-shot with Luke Benstead right on his back wheel, unfortunately Luke made a few mistakes in the race resulting in him stalling twice so he was unable to fight for the win and finished 2nd. Luke Parker started 10th in race 2 and found it very difficult to move forward on the track with very little passing opportunities out there and only got 8th. Brad Tomlin had a better ride in race 2 but once again didnt get the best start and the same as Luke Parker found it difficult to make passes but managed to get a 10th. Brendon Mayers ended up 18th after a bad start.

Race 3 came round and Luke Parker was fired up and he was out to try and make sure he kept the streak going with 5 races and 5 different race winners going. He grabbed the hole-shot with Luke Benstead right on him, Benstead made the pass after a few laps and got away to take the win. Luke Parker managed to hang on the 2nd after a race long battle with numerous riders making a GH Motorcycles G&B Finch 1st & 2nd. Brad Tomlin again struggled out of the gate and only came home in 10th, Brendon Mayers had a similar situation to Tomlin and finished in 16th in race 3.
