Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only use genuine parts, or do you also source and fit parts from other suppliers if we request it?

We prefer to use Genuine Parts, but we can use alternative “Pattern Parts” where price is an issue for the customer. If you wish for pattern parts to be used please do specify this to a member of staff as soon as possible.

Is my motorcycle serviced on site at your dealership, or is it taken off-site and serviced elsewhere?

All servicing and repair work is completed on-site at our fully equiped workshop.

Can I wait whilst my motorcycle gets serviced?

Yes, a while you wait service is available with prior notice given. Typically 2 days notice is required. Please make us aware of your intention to wait when booking your motorcycle in with us.

Do you provide a pick-up / drop off service facility, collecting my motorcycle from home or place of work if required?

Yes, customers will need to book this service and speak to a member of staff for additional cost.

If the service lasts a couple of days, do you provide me with a courtesy motorcycle?

All Service work is usually carried out on the same day. Unfortunately we are unable to offer courtesy vehicles at the moment.

If my motorcycle fails its MOT originally will you re-test it for free?

Yes, however exceptions apply. View the VOSA MOT recommendations for conditions here.

Do you provide a valet service after the motorcycle itself has been serviced? (Is there an extra cost for this?)

Unfortunately we are unable to offer a valet service for free. Please ensure your motorcycle or dirtbike is clean for us to work on to avoid being charged to clean your motorcycle.

What is your general turnaround time for motorcycle servicing and MOTs?

Normally same day, unless you have asked for “while you wait” then it’s typically between 2-4 hours depending on the type of service required.

Will you stamp the service book?

We stamp the book when it is provided to us. Please make sure your service booklet is given to a member of staff upon collection or when you drop your

Do you provide any speciality services/parts only available through yourselves that are not available at regular service centres?

As we are official Husqvarna (Motocross, Enduro & Road), Suzuki (Motocross, Enduro & ATV) and Yamaha (Motocross & Enduro) Dealers we have exclusive Manufacturer Diagnostic Equipment and Fully Trained Manufacturer Technicians. This improves efficiency and reliability of the service.

Will you call me before making chargeable changes to my motorcycle

Yes we will always call before any additional work is completed.

Are you open early until late, to provide me with the option to drop off and pick up my motorcycle before and after work?

We are open late on Wednesdays from 8:30am – 19:30pm except for near the Christmas and New Year period. See our opening hours here for more information:

What method of payments do you accept?

We accept all major Debit & Credit Cards, Cash or bank transfer. We cannot accept cash on delivery or cheques.

Do you provide a full set of servicing notes and receipt?

Yes we provide a Service Sheet and Full Tax Invoice given on collection, all work is recorded on our DMS computer system.
